Outside of work, I’m a father, husband, and cat parent! I enjoy being outside, reading, and playing (not particularly well) the guitar. I discovered in December 2019 that I enjoy traveling – just in time for a global pandemic! The most touristy thing I’ve ever done is take an evening Segway tour in Rome. It was lovely!
My wife, Lindsey, is an English teacher at Champaign Central High School. She is passionate about social justice, education, baking, and finding any reason to celebrate. Most recently, she’s learned how to sling a mean espresso and is usually working on meeting her annual reading goal.
Mina is the newest addition to the team! She is very sweet and can dance to any music (and some things that would be hard to classify as music haha). She loves going outside to look at insects and plants, listen to the wind, and splash in her water table.
Our cats, Moby (grey) and Rory (black), are Urbana-Champaign natives and have been crashing with us since fall 2014. Next to naps, their main passions are wand toys and chirping at squirrels and birds.
